About UseClick

Our Story

I started UseClick in 2024 because the link management tools I was using kept getting in the way. Some were bloated with features nobody asked for. Others tracked everything about visitors except what actually mattered for campaign decisions. And most of them treated privacy as an afterthought.

As an engineer, I saw a gap between what marketers needed and what existing platforms delivered. Teams wanted clean branded links, reliable click data, and the confidence that their tools wouldn't create compliance headaches. They didn't want to choose between good analytics and respecting their audience.

So I built UseClick from scratch with privacy at the architecture level, not bolted on as a feature. We never store IP addresses. We don't use cookies for tracking. Visitor identification uses SHA-256 hashing that can't be reversed. Geolocation stays at the country level. These aren't policy choices — they're engineering decisions baked into every redirect and every database query.

The result is a platform that gives you the campaign metrics that actually drive decisions — click volume, traffic sources, device trends, geographic performance, A/B test results — without collecting data you don't need and shouldn't have.

UseClick now serves teams across marketing, sales, SaaS, and e-commerce. We process redirects through Cloudflare's global edge network for speed and run on EU-hosted infrastructure for data sovereignty. Every feature, from branded domains to geo-targeting, works within the same privacy-first framework.

We're self-funded and growing on the strength of the product. No venture capital pressure to maximize data collection. No incentive to change the privacy model. Just a sustainable business built around tools that work the way they should.
